random_stuff.zip is a collection of unreleased songs made by C418. It contains alternate versions of pre-existing material along with obscure tracks from C418's early career. This collection was released on March 17, 2020, at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since everything is currently no good bad times, I wanted to release a few things for free but realized most of my stuff is either under NDA or can't ever release stuff limbo, so please forgive this tiny amount of unreleased music I have to offer, here
As these tracks were not released in any numbered order, they are listed here alphabetically.
this archive contains a couple weird things. bs.mp3 is some OLD OLD experimental battle music for a game I used to work on, never worked out. cm.mp3 was another experiment for the same game I think? Sorry for the trash lol.
HMS1 is a song I did last summer when I was waiting for my US visa so I could go to work. It's a beat saber song I never finished. I've also attached the level file, which is incomplete, but I think you can mostly play it?
- Despite the album cover, this song was never planned to appear on Excursions and the cover is only used as a placeholder.
The other two files are a super early version of the Dief album, and an instrumental version of Tsuki no Koibumi.
teddy gdc is an early demo of the album Dief. It contains early demos of Match Cut, Blank Cubicle, Imaginary Interlude, Work Life Imbalance, a scrapped song, and Smooth Fall.
- Contains two 12-second-long interludes that were never heard anywhere else.
