I forgot something, didn't I. is the counterpart to 72 Minutes of Fame, containing several tracks originally intended for that album along with various other tracks. The album artwork is a simplified version of the 72 Minutes of Fame artwork, signifying that it is a B-side to the album (as C418 called it).
I forgot something, didn't I. was originally released for free to all who had purchased music from C418's Bandcamp page in the past, costing $1.99 to anyone else. Later the price became $2 before finally becoming name-your-price.

This is the B-Sides to 72 Minutes of Fame. It’s very B because it isn’t that good.—C418, c418.org
While working on 72 Minutes of Fame I thought to myself that I should thank people that bought my music in general. So I collected these songs, and sent it to everyone that purchased something from my Bandcamp store, for free. I think people really loved that gesture, so I think next time I release a new original album, I will do the same again.—C418, c418.org (old website)
